Before we dive into this video, please remember this is just my opinion and research.

The Coronavirus. It’s taking over headlines and it’s something I am sure is on a lot of our minds. Countries are being placed on lockdown and so many are seeing increased numbers daily.

There is a lot of confusion about how to respond and act, which can overwhelming. But in time when the virus is still new and we are learning a lot about it, and how to find solutions to the virus, there are some small things we can do to help slow the spread and boost our immunity.

Today’s video is about simply sharing my research and knowledge that I have found and am personally using. As I love you all so much, it’s important for me to share as much information as I can to help us all stay safe and healthy. This is what my channel is about.

As a disclaimer: please know I am not a doctor and I would advise always asking your GP or healthcare provider before diving into some supplements. This is simply just WHAT I AM DOING to help prevent the infection and boost MY immunity.

I do sincerely hope this information today helps you all and you learn something new 🙂

♡ RESEARCH I FOUND:
– Vitamin D
Low levels of vitamin D are associated with increased risk of infection in multiple studies. One study of 19k people showed that people with lower vitamin D levels were more likely to get a respiratory tract infection – 2012 study showed young children with a 1,200 IU of vitamin D a day reduced the risk of influenza
– Vitamin C (China using this in trials, anti-oxidant, could help):
Vitamin C has been shown, not necessarily to prevent colds, but to shorter their duration – by 8% in adults and 14% in children. In stressed mice, mega-dosing vitamin C helped prevent influenza induced pneumonia
As soon as you feel symptoms of a cold or flu, taking oral doses of thousands of milligrams of vitamin C will help
In stressed mice, mega-dosing vitamin C helped prevent influenza induced pneumonia
– Low levels of zinc can increase the risk of pneumonia.
– Natural antibiotics:
Garlic is a natural antibiotic and kills viruses directly and strengthens immunity, based on many studies. Heating garlic destroys its beneficial compounds so crush it and use it cold to activate its benefits.
Herbs and spices: oregano is an effective antifungal and antibacterial substance. Others with similar properties include thyme, rosemary, clove. Lemon balm and cat’s claw. Spices like cayenne pepper, chilli and black pepper can kill pathogens directly.
Honey has antimicrobial peptides that strengthen the immune system
