Hi, my name is Samaneh Bolourchi and I am a second year osteopathic medical student at TUC. I am a Bay Area native, primarily based in Oakland, California. I completed my B.S. at UC Berkeley in Molecular Environmental Biology and my MHS at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Environmental Health. Before starting my current program, I worked for several years in a clinical and translational pulmonary research laboratory at UCSF. This intersection between the built environment and human health joins my interests in molecular biology, public health and social justice. Along this journey I have adopted various strategies from peers and mentors that have helped me manage stress and prioritize wellness, which I am looking forward to sharing with you.
