Cumin or Jeera has long been used in traditional Ayurvedic medicines due to its numerous health benefits.

It is rich in iron and calcium and helps in fighting against anemia, fatigue, urinary tract infection, digestive issues, menstrual disorders, and sleeplessness.

Coriander or Dhania is a great source of dietary fiber, vitamin, vitamin K, iron, manganese, magnesium, and small amounts of calcium, phosphorous, potassium, thiamin, niacin, and carotene, as well. It helps in balancing cholesterol levels, promoting liver functions, improving bowel movements, lowering blood sugar level, and has anti-inflammatory properties as well.

In India, Fennel or Saunf is most commonly eaten after meals as a mouth freshener and is considered to be great for digestion. However, its lesser know nutritional benefits include concentrated amounts of copper, calcium, vitamin C, potassium, iron, zinc, manganese, magnesium, and selenium. It is considered effective in regulating blood pressure, reducing water retention, purifying blood, improving eyesight, and controlling acne.
