Vitamin D supplementation, now so perhaps more then ever, is beginning to grow in popularity as more and more individuals are beginning to learn about its importance for our overall physical health and mental health. Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin and is produced from direct exposure to sunlight. As many areas around the world are now entering fall and winter with less sunlight exposure, it is even more important that we are getting adequate levels of this important vitamin, whether through supplements, food or sunlight exposure if possible.
