Scientists believe that the period of immunity from the virus ranges between 8-9 months, and after that the chance of infection again diminishes, although infection with the Coronavirus a second time is very common. Scientists are working hard to determine the actual duration of immunity acquired after recovery from the virus.
Reports of a second infection with the Coronavirus were not supported by genetic sequences of the virus in the past, which reduces its health, but the second infection is expected and there is no need for concern.
