RACE GAPS in COVID-19 DEATHS

Data has shown that health disparities continue to plague people of color in America. There is also stark evidence showing that RACE gaps exist in regards to COVID-19 deaths. Quality of life and overall good health is affected by health inequities as it pertains to social determinants such as access to healthcare and socioeconomic status (i.e., low income). Other factors that play a role in health inequities is discrimination, lack of education, housing and occupation. Since we know these gaps exist, we should do any and everything in our power to try to maintain good health and prevent spread of disease if all possible. One way to help prevent possible flu, is to get vaccinated! This can help to prevent co-infection with COVID-19 and Flu!
