Grapefruit Thyme Mocktail – Immunity Drink – Vitamin C Drink

Grapefruit Juice as we know is one of the healthiest fruit loaded with Vitamin C and antioxidants. Grapefruit is low on the glycemic index and hence is diabetic friendly. Helps in weight loss. Lowers blood sugar level.

The Grapefruit Thyme Mocktail is a refreshing drink that you will enjoy at any time of the day.

INGREDIENTS
Water – 1.5 cup
Sugar – 1 cup
Pink Grapefruit Juice – 1/2 cup
Thyme – 6-8 thyme stems
Ice Cubes

PROCEDURE
1. In a saucepan, add 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar
2. Once the sugar dissolves, remove the saucepan from flame
3. Add in 6-8 thyme stems and let it sit/steep for 1-2 hours.
4. Strain the thyme syrup and store it in a refrigerator until further use.
5. In a glass, add ice cubes, thyme syrup, grapefruit juice and water
6. Stir Well and Enjoy !
