5 things to boost the immune system heading into the Fall and Winter from Dr. Swanz

Did you know that Dr. Anthony Fauci just recently admitted that he takes extra Vitamin D and Vitamin C to boost his immune system and to help protect himself from the Corona Virus? Well it can work for you too. Here’s a good place to start for adults:

Vitamin D – 4000 to 5000 IUs daily
N Acetyl Cysteine – 500 mg 1 to 3 times per day
Zinc – 25 to 50 mg a few times per week with 500 mg of quercetin
Vitamin C – 1000 mg 2 to 3 times per day
Probiotic – providing 10 to 20 billion live bacteria daily

These are very basic recommendations to tonify the immune system. If someone is actively becoming sick, the recommendations would change. Everyone should check with their primary care physicians before starting or adding any new supplements to their regimen.
