Recorded on 27 August 2020, as part of The Royal Society of Medicine’s events programme.
Organised by the Rheumatology & Rehabilitation Section.
This lecture examines paediatric hyper-inflammatory syndrome seen in children with the SARS-CoV2 (COVID-19) infection.
This rare but potentially fatal condition in children affected with COVID-19 requires prompt recognition and treatment. Topics covered include the differences between hyper-inflammatory syndrome of non-infectious aetiology and how to recognise and promptly treat the syndrome in the context of COVID-19.
