These are trying times and we need to take precautions and stay at home. We also need to eat food that is healthy, nutritious and good for the immune system.

As a family, we already have healthy eating habits. But we have decided to go one step ahead and completely cut down on junk food or processed food and carbonated drinks (all of which we have once in a while). It is a time of self-discipline and restraint.

Ingredients
200gms mixed dal -urad dal,masoor dal,green moong dal,kidney beans,chickpeas(kabulichola)chana dal
aarhar dal,beans seeds(boiled)
1 medium chopped onions
10/15 cloves of garlic chopped
1″ginger chopped
coriander powder 1/2 tsp
cumin powder 1/2 tsp
turmeric and red chilli powder 1/2 tsp each
garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
oil & ghee
fresh cream 1 tbsp
kasuri methi/ fenugreek leaves 1 tbsp
chopped coriander/ dhaniya chopped
salt to taste
nuts few
