ISBM Webinar 3: Diagnostics of SARS-CoV-2 Infection and Immune Response: Bangladesh Perspective:

Our country and the entire world are facing an unprecedented situation as we respond and attempt to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 pandemic. Many of our fellow microbiologists have stepped up during this extremely challenging time to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. They are working hard to meet the needs for development, utilization, and stewardship of diagnostic testing and most importantly, support the health systems to ensure that patients are receiving the appropriate diagnosis in an efficient manner. ISBM is launching a series of scientific webinars and panel discussions to highlight its members at home and abroad on their contributions, experiences, and achievements on diagnostics, epidemiology, therapeutics, and vaccines development. These webinar series are aimed at providing important insights into various aspects of COVID-19 to facilitate the transfer of knowledge and experiences among our members in order to bridge connection to further improve diagnostic testing capacity in Bangladesh.

In this effort, ISBM has already conducted 2 webinars focusing on Diagnostics of SARS-CoV-2 Infection and Immune Response, where Microbiologists of Bangladesh origin presented their contributions to the development, utilization, and stewardship of COVID-19 diagnostics. Both webinars received overwhelming enthusiasm and interest among the microbiologists at home and abroad. Therefore, ISBM is planning to hold its 3rd webinar focusing on “Diagnostics of SARS-CoV-2 Infection and Immune Response: Bangladesh Perspective”
