๐Ÿ‘‰ Besides eating healthy, taking vitamins and protecting ourselves we have to keep on taking care of our body with exercise with for example active Yoga styles. But it is as important to put our body actively in a relaxation state. This is necessary to take the body out of a danger state (which will activate the Sympathetic Nervous System) in which the Body will focus on functions like (e.g.) Adrenaline or Cortisol Production and will slow down โ€œhouseholdingโ€ functions like digestion but also the IMMUNE SYSTEM!
That means: If we are constantly in an alert situation or half alert situation the Immune System will not work properly!

๐Ÿ‘‰ Therefore, it is so important to regularly put our body into a relaxation state to give the body the chance to put energy into the Immune System!!!
๐Ÿ‘‰ One great way to do so is Restorative Yoga which I will share in this video with you. We will be here for several minutes in a pose or shape supported by props, not moving which alone helps to get into a relaxation state but these specific poses will additionally open up the body, relieve anxiety, stress and activate different body functions like the digestion, IMMUNE SYSTEM, glands, like the thyroid gland to just name a few.
๐Ÿ‘‰ If you donโ€™t have time to do the whole class, then watch the video and pick one or two poses which you like most.
Make a habit out of it and give yourself the gift of at least 10 minutes of relaxation a day!
