Number 2 and 3 discussed below should not be taken if anyone has had an organ transplant. Transplants are foreign to the body from birth and immune modulator supplements like #2 and #3 will cause the immune system to work harder to reject it.

1) Vitamin C – 3000mg a day
Minimum vitamin/herb to use especially if you are doing little to nothing else to supplement your wellness. This is also the one that most have some common knowledge of as to helping fight a cold and strengthen the immune system. The challenge is if you do the government recommended daily allowance of @ 60mg it will do little to properly aid your immune system, and the powers that be know this and do not encourage a person to take more. Enough Vitamin C alone will help rescue many from what is consider common natural ailments, especially from aging. For example, Many do not know that Vitamin C can be very helpful in fighting allergies because of its natural anti-histamine effect. I took at least 2000mg a day for a couple of years until I finally got rid of my allergies with another green food supplement.
A very good type of Vitamin C to take, instead of just capsules/tablets, which can be best absorbed into the body is a Liposomal (oil based mix) vitamin c. The oil (which btw should never be deadly toxic soybean oil) allows the Vitamin C to stay in the system longer to have a greater impact because standard vitamin C is easily and fast flushed out the system with the water in your body. I know of people safely taking 5000mg to 10,000mg of liposomal vitamin C a day.
The very best Vitamin C is a fruit extract type (vs Asorbic Acid synthetic type), such as Camu Camu, Areola Cherries. However, it can be very costly to get 3000mg a day from tablets/capsules/powder. Also hard to find a liposomal fruit extract version. I buy a Kiwi fruit based Vitamin C, that is liposomal based, and 3000mg per serving, see:
2) Medicinal Mushroom Herbs (alpha and beta glucans)
Most have not heard of alpha and beta glucans. Research shows glucans work to help the body fight against just about everything from a cold to cancer. Look up Beta Glucans benefits online. This is one herb the medical industry does not want the masse to know about. You can fight off a plethora of illness just taking such supplements daily, or increasing the intake if you feel the effects of a cold or something coming on.
Here are 3 suggested sources I’ve used.
A) AHCC – 1-2 teaspoons a day is what I do.
AHCC is a patented Japan medicinal mushroom root mix. It is strong in Alpha Glucans, which from what I’ve ascertained are a bit more effective than Beta Glucans, and
Beta Glucans, are very powerful and effective. I used beta glucans to clear up the seemingly cancer radiation attack to the left side of my face. I love this stuff, and used it especially
in the winter driving Uber, or when I travel by plane, to stay health.
They come in capsules but are costly particularly if taking enough to fight off an existing ailment. I used a liposomal version, which I find is more effective, again because the oil
lets it stay in the system longer, and it cost less. I have brought mine here for at least 2 years now. They are the only ones I know with a liposomal AHCC.
B) “Stamets 7” extract
I ran out of AHCC once and tried Stamets 7 liquid extract. It worked great. It’s a good substitute of AHCC when not available.
C) Algae(Euglena Gracilis) Beta Glucan
In 2012 used a Baker’s Yeast version which at the time was known as the best
but research has shown that the said algae based beta glucan is more potent and much more of it is absorbed into the system than the yeast version, plus it cost less.
