Nutrition Sector Cox’s Bazar Starts its Vitamin A campaign for 21st June, 2020 and continue till 20 July, 2020. With the support of 7 implementing partners and 1 technical partner, we are providing Vitamine A supplementation (VAS) to the Rohingya children. We already covered 72.2% Vit-A blue and 90.5% Vit-A Red of our total target. Vit-A has properly given more than 97% of children and the right dose of Vit-A provided to more than 98% of children. Out of total screened 14.1% are found with some form of acute malnutrition. More than 99% of children are correctly measured MUAC and checked age properly. 91,860 caregivers of children under 5 years of age were reached with IYCF messaging. Considering the COVID situation 116876 caregivers were given MUAC tape so that they can screen children by themselves. We Hope that After this Round, we will able to reach 100% of our target.
