Lemon rasam, Simple rasam, Immune rasam, Indian tangy soup

Lemon is rich in Vitamin C a natural antioxidant that improve your immunity power.
Ingredients:
Lemon – 1
Mustard – ¼ tsp
Tamarind juice – 1 tsp
Dal powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – ¼ tsp
Chilly powder – ¼ tsp
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves
Salt as per your taste
Oil – 1 tsp
To grind:
Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
Pepper – ½ tsp
Garlic – 1
Method :
Grind the cumin, pepper and garlic together keep a side. Keep the pan in the stove and switch on the flame. Add oil in that, wait until it gets heated. Add mustard, curry leaves and dry chillies. Then add the grinded paste and dal powder to that, let it roast. Then add tomatoes to it, cook for a minute. Then add 2 ½ cups of water to it. As it gets boiling add coriander powder, chilly powder and turmeric powder to that. Add salt as per your taste. Do not over boil. As a final touch switch off the flame and add lemon juice and coriander leaves. Transfer the lemon rasam to a serving bowl.
