Vitamin D deficiency and what it can cause.
Vitamin D is in fact a hormone once it is in the body. In this video I explain what it can cause and what your blood levels should read.
Please remember that I not medically trained and so everything I have learnt is through research, Doctors, specialists and the campaign my friend and I are running at the moment to try and help and change the NICE COMMS Guidelines for Vitamin D, Ferritin, B12 and Folate. They seem to be connected and it is also showing, in some cases, that once one area depletes, it may send the others the same way.

This will check your Vitamin D, Ferritin (Iron), Trans Ferritin Saturation, Serum Iron, B12 and Folate.
GP’s surgery do this for FREE, but they will not automatically test for all 6 of these, in fact we have found in most cases they won’t, so you have to ask for this to be added to a full blood count for you.

Endocrine guidelines…

Vitamin D3 is the best and it should be taken at the start of your day with food in your stomach, preferably good fats as it is a fat soluble. If taken at night it can effect your sleep.
If on an thyroid medication it should be taken 4 hours before or after, please consult your Doctor.
It’s pairing is Vitamin K2 and best to take them both, but K2 must NOT be taken if you are on blood thinners.

I have already filmed a lot of videos on Iron deficiency, which I suffered with severely and it sadly was never picked up by my GP because of the NICE COMMS Guidelines.

I had almost three weeks last year in the sun in Marbella with my family, where I spent most of my time in the pool with my son. I caught a lovely tan and had my bloods checked when I returned. I was low in Vitamin D and almost at basic. Please get yourself checked.

Different people need different amounts depending on body weight and any inflammatory conditions. It is advised to check your level first in your bloods.
