Juliana Teruel Camargo is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Dietetics & Nutrition at University of Kansas Medical Center where she conducts research on: diet patterns, diabetes, urological cancer, nutrition-related health disparities, and global health. Ms. Camargo has actively support nutrition research in the US, and internationally with research projects conducted in Brazil, Colombia and Peru. She is also nutrition education counselor for LAUGHH foundation. She holds a PhD in Medical Nutrition, a Master in Public Health, minor in Epidemiology, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition.
She uses a variety of approaches to share her views and findings about nutrition, including authoring scientific journal articles; interviews on radio, television, and magazines.
