Gooseberry Pickle by my mother – Filled with Vitamin C and boosts immunity

Here is the process.
Process:
Soak Gooseberry in salt and vinegar for minimum 1 week to 1 month
Then prepare a dry masala with the following ingredients
1. Mustard dal
2. Mustard seeds
3. Fenugreek seeds
4. Pepper corns
5. Cumin seeds
Grind the above and store.

Then in a wok, add oil, mustard seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves.
Let them splutter. Then add dry red chilli powder, salt, and masala prepared earlier.
Add sugar to taste or skip.

Mix well and add gooseberry in them and let it cool down before storing in a Glass jar.
Enjoy home made gooseberry pickle rich in vitamin C and good for immunity.
