Grenada Food & Nutrition Council Gives Advice – COVID-19 & Those Most At Risk

The Executive Director of the Grenada Food & Nutrition Council – Lydia K. Browne shares that in this time of COVID-19 where we are all at risk, it is important to BOOST our Immune Systems.

Within this session the Executive Director of GFNC will provide examples of local foods that we should include in our diet during this pandemic, so as to strengthen the body.

Central Health – Grenada was established in 2014 as an initiative to educate nationals about chronic non-communicable diseases. Although COVID-19 is a communicable disease, it has devastating impact on persons living with pre-existing conditions and has raised stress and anxiety levels of the citizens of Grenada, and of course globally.

The project is also part of the High Performance Leadership requirement.
