The Delhi government has capped the prices for COVID-19 treatment in private hospitals. The Delhi citizens will now get treated in various listed private hospitals at the rate given by the government.
Delhi has over 100 private hospitals and there have been complaints in the past of private hospitals overcharging for COVID-19 treatments. The list issued by the Delhi government includes 8 such hospitals which will have to include a certain number of Coronavirus beds and all these beds will be given only under the price caps implemented by the government.
