Make Your Own All Natural Energy Drink – How To Make Juice For Use During Exercise

Juicing is a great way to get natural energy. A diluted, homemade juice is one of the best energy drinks out there – here’s what GCN use in our bottles.

GCN’s all-natural energy juice is a great way to fuel during a ride/exercise. It’s got a mix of fruits for a balance of vitamins and minerals, celery and cucumber for hydration, and beetroot (or beets) for nitrates, which are seen as increasingly important in sports-nutrition circles.

As with most of our recipes, a bit of experimentation is good. This time, it’s not just about finding what works for you taste-wise, it’s also about finding what works for you on the bike or when you’re exercising. To make the juice as Daniel does in the video, you will need:
1 Apple
1 Beetroot (or Beet)
1/2 Stick of Celery
1/2 inch (1.5cm) of Cucumber
400ml of water to dilute
