I know I sound like a broken record but let’s be #proactive in taking care of our bodies and supporting our #immunesystem as we continue to fight this #virus that has turned our lives upside down! This video has four practical tips to keep your #lungs happy and #healthy which makes it much more difficult for the #coronavirus or any other virus to attack your respiratory system.
1. steam treatments with essential oils are sooooo helpful in opening the bronchial passages that tend to take a hit when a virus sets in. Utilize #peppermint and #eucalyptus on a regular basis to keep your lungs clear and strong.
2. Have a BAM!! That would be a big ass mug of tea!! Yes indeed!! Drink green tea daily and those antioxidants will be your friend for life.
3. An apple a day keeps the doctor away….isn’t that what they say? Apples contain MORE antioxidants that research has shown helps with the repair and maintenance of overall lung health.
4. Deficiency in vitamin D can be associated with a reduced overall healthy lung function. I take 5,000 IU daily to help with my #fibro issues so make sure you talk with your health team to determine the amount good for you.
