So, as many people may already know, to be vegan isn’t just about following a plant-based diet but it’s also about following a vegan lifestyle. A lifestyle that involves leaving animals alone. To live their lives in peace, free of harm. This may sound simple, just don’t eat meat, but for me, it took some getting used too. It meant learning new ways of cooking and re-educating myself, regarding nutrients, and protein, vitamins, etc. Not that I eat perfectly now (turned into a junk food vegan over the years) But I like to think every day is a new day…. a new day for yummy junk food! Haha! No seriously, a new day, or opportunity to eat healthy vegan foods, and make yummy vegan recipes.
