Smoothies are often known as a diet food and a way to detox the body.
This smoothie is packed with vitamins A and C, iron and potassium and all sorts of other good stuff.
Without wasting anytime lets start preparing our smoothie.
Add 1 cup of water
2 cups of frozen pineapple
1” ginger and 1 table spoon flax seeds
1 cup of carrot pieces
3 cups of spinach
Here I’m not using any ice cubes as I’m using frozen pineapple to avoid diluting.
It takes less than 1 min in high power blender. If you are using normal blender then blend spinach, ginger and flax seeds with water first and then add fruits.
The spinach has a mild taste and is packed with over 20 different nutrients, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and high-quality amino acids.
Flax seeds has good amount of protein, fiber and omega-3 fatty acids, in addition to being a rich source of some vitamins and minerals.
Ginger helps in Reducing gas and improving digestion.
Pineapples are low in calories but have an incredibly impressive nutrient profile.
Pineapples also contain trace amounts of vitamins A and K, phosphorus, zinc and calcium.
They are especially rich in vitamin C and manganese. Vitamin C is essential for growth and development, a healthy immune system and aiding the absorption of iron from the diet.
Carrots are considered as weight-loss-friendly food and have been linked to lower cholesterol levels and improved eye health.
So you can sip down this green smoothie for your breakfast for all sorts of energy to your day ahead.
