Dr. K Kunhali is a highly experienced Cardiologist practicing in Kozhikode, with over 40 years of medical practice behind him. He did his MBBS from Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Mangalore in 1967, obtaining the third rank in the Examination. He then did his MD in General Medicine from Medical College Hospital (MCH), Trivandrum, and further obtained a DM in Cardiology from Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore.

Dr. Kunhali has been a Medical Teacher and Practising Cardiologist from 1972 and for the first twenty-five years of practice was a strong supporter of PTCA, Stents, and Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG). However, for the last sixteen years, Dr. Kunhali considers and recommends Angioplasty and Bypass Surgery as the last option and only to those patients who do not respond to Therapeutic Lifestyle Change (TLC) and Optimum Medical Treatment (OMT) by which method Dr. Kunhali has successfully treated over 4,000 patients.

Dr. Kunhali has published several scientific papers in National & International Journals. He has attended/chaired/presented papers at a large number of National & International Cardiology Conferences and Seminars, including the World Congress of Cardiology at Sydney (2002), Barcelona (2006), and Dubai (2012).
