Portobello Mushroom Steaks for Vitamin D, Immune Boosting, and Cancer

How to cook Portobello Mushroom Steaks! Mushrooms are an excellent source of protein, vitamin D, and beta glucans. Make sure you let them sunbathe for about 5 minutes before you cook them. Mushrooms have also been shown to help boost the immune system, and help the body fight cancer.

You can plate this with your favorite sides, like brown rice, roasted veggies, or even put it on bun and eat it like a burger.

You’ll need:
A sheet pan (I use a silpat for non stick)
Some huge Portos
Salt, pepper, garlic powder, and a nice balsamic vinegar
30 minutes of cook time in an oven @ 350 deg
about 5 minutes of prep time
