Monologue
Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing a comparison between India and the state of California when it comes to the covid 19 pandemic. Although the numbers of populations are vastly different. The rates of infections and deaths are greater in California. Asserting this is due to the fact that people in India don’t eat much wheat based foods. While Californians do eat a lot of wheat products. Contending the gluten in wheat is causing damage to their intestines making it difficult to absorb nutrients. Resulting in the bone marrow cavity to fill with connective tissue and fats. Compromising the ability to make white blood cells that would attack the corona virus.
Pearls of Wisdom
Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a study of vitamin C. Researchers finding that COVID 19 patients that were given an injection of 1500mg of vitamin C had a reduction in symptoms. As vitamin C boosts the immune system that attacks the virus. Doc agrees stating that supplementing with vitamin C is good on several levels.
