OCD AND BODYBUILDING/FITNESS: HOW TO SURVIVE DIETING WITH OCD

I’ve struggled with this illness for a while and I hate how so many of us who participate in this sport or in general enjoy fitness choose to dismiss how to handle OCD. I’ve spent so many hours and experiments doing different “preps” by altering length, macros, refeeds, and more in order to somehow find a cure for this. I can’t name how many articles and hours I’ve also just spent browsing the web to figure out why my OCD gets uncontrollable the further I get into prep because NOT A SINGLE person has made a solid post anywhere be-it reddit, youtube, forums, and etc on how to battle this illness. Hopefully, what I share in this video helps you. Please share this youtube video so that it can reach those who have OCD and are nearly giving this sport up because of the pains ASSOCIATED with serious dieting. IF you’re on SSRI’s, I believe you can still take these but consult your doctor first. This might be better or might even help your wean off of them completely with, obviously, the help of your doctor administering your medication.
