• Kojic Acid
• Kojic acid is produced from rice as a by-product of the sake production process or extracted from mushrooms. It lightens skin by hindering melanin production. Kojic acid is much safer to use. It is also used in the treatment of hyperpigmentation and melasma. Today, kojic acid is being used in cosmetics and skin lightening products regularly because it actually works and doesn’t have the dangerous side effects of many chemicals and compounds used as main ingredients.
• What Is Kojic Acid?
• Kojic acid is an all-natural compound derived from fungi — sort of like mushrooms. That means that kojic acid is completely natural and not something that’s man-made in a laboratory by a group of scientists and dermatologists.
• Now that you know what kojic acid is, you probably want to know how it works. Kojic acid works in a fairly unique and effective way, especially considering that it’s all-natural.
• KOJIC acid works to stop the production of melanin in your skin. Melanin is the substance that gives your skin its pigment, and the more you have, the darker your skin will be. Age spots, sun spots and spots related to melasma and hyperpigmentation generally contain more melanin than the surrounding healthy skin.
• However, you don’t have to have a skin problem for kojic acid to work. It will work on healthy skin and reduce the production of melanin
• Arbutin
• Arbutin is a natural skin lightener that is derived from cranberry, mulberry, or blueberry plants. Arbutin is a derivative of hydroquinone but does not have any of the side effects. Rather than killing off cells, it prevents the cells from producing excess pigmentation. Medical studies demonstrate that arbutin is effective and since it comes from plants, it is considered safer than many chemical depigmenting agents used to bleach skin. There are actually two forms of arbutin: alpha and beta. Alpha-arbutin is more stable and therefore works better and faster for lightening cream
• What is Octinoxate 7.5
Also called octyl methoxycinnamate, octinoxate is an organic compound
Formed from methoxycinnamic acid and 2-ethylhexanol. A clear liquid, it’s insoluble in water, and is used in sunscreens and other cosmetics to protect from skin damage. It absorbs ultraviolet radiation in the UVB range, and is permitted by the FDA in skin care formulations at 7.5 percent.

VITAMIN — E Skin Protection Effects of Vitamin E.
Antioxidants are agents that neutralize the oxidant effect of free radicals, which are molecules that damage collagen and cause skin dryness, fine lines and wrinkles A simple chemistry lesson can explain how vitamin E does this. The atoms that comprise your body try to maintain an even number of electrons — that’s what makes them stable. If an atom has an uneven number of electrons, it will steal an electron from another atom to become stable. When your skin takes a beating from outside factors, such as the sun’s ultraviolet rays, your body can produce free radicals. Free radicals are atoms with an uneven number of electrons, and when they form inside your body, they steal electrons from healthy cells like the ones that make up your skin. This can cause a damaging chain reaction, and that’s where antioxidants like vitamin E come in.
Antioxidants neutralize free radicals and prevent cellular damage from occurring. Vitamin E is one of the most powerful antioxidants, but your body can’t produce it, which means you have to make sure you’re getting enough of this valuable nutrient in your diet. Eating foods high in vitamin E and taking vitamin E supplements if you can’t get enough through your food intake can help prevent premature aging of your skin and damage to your DNA. Vitamin E long term can even reduce sunburns from exposure to UVB radiation. This doesn’t mean that taking vitamins or applying topical vitamin E will allow you to safely bake in the sun, but you can help your skin stay healthier and more supple by ensuring you get enough of this antioxidant vitamin E.
MULBERRY ( शहतूत ) .
Mulberry Extract
Another skin lightening extract from Japan, mulberry extract (or sometimes dubbed as paper mulberry) comes from the skin of a dried out mulberry. The tyrosine inhibiting quality of mulberry root is not only one of the most potent, but most gentle. It is known to be soothing and not cause any irritation, even in high concentrations.
