Vitamin C for Sepsis and Severe ARDS

In a 2019 randomized trial, high-dose vitamin C infusion did not reduce organ failure scores at 96 hours or improve biomarkers of inflammation and vascular injury at 168 hours in patients with sepsis-induced severe acute respiratory failure in U.S. intensive care units (ICUs).
