Covid-19 Patients Diet
(Immune Boosting & protein Diet)
A. Early morning (Empty stomach)-
Syp.Aloe vera extract 30ml in 200ml water or Tulsi Ginger Tea
B. Breakfast
Idli 4 pieces or sada dosa with sambar
Or Oats (40gm) in 150ml skimmed milk & honey 2tsp
Tulsi Tea or Ginger Tea or Green Tea or turmeric tea
C. Lunch
Boiled eggs white 3 plus one yellow
Or Paneer 50gm
With Green vegetables in 15ml olive oil with phulka 2-3 or Bhakri with or without white rice cooked one wati with salad
Salad( Cucumber, cabbage r,onion,carrot, tomatoes and green veggies)
Buttermilk small glass
D.Mid Meal –
Tulsi Tea or Ginger Tea or Green Tea
With or without fruits like papaya, kiwi, oranges, sweet lemon,apple and strawberry
E.Dinner-
Soya chunks (alternate with paneer) with veggies or gravy in 15ml olive oil with phulka 2/3 or bhakri with salad
Or
Veg paneer biryani or pulao
Or
Veg khichadi with soya chunks
Curd 1 wati
Notes Covid-19 Diet
1. Drink plenty of water divided throughout day
2. Eat citrus fruits to boost immunity like orange, pineapple, sweet lime, kiwi, strawberry
3. Avoid high sugar drinks and meals
4. Daily Exercise for 45-60min
5. Adequate sleep 7-9 hours
6. Salad like cucumber, carrots, cabbage,onion,tomatoes & green leafy veggies
7. Can have curd , buttermilk,salted lime water
8. Cook food in olive oil & healthy oils.
9. Use all types of Daal regularly
10. Frequent use of green veggies in meals
11. Can add honey or stevia for sweetness in tea avoid regular sugars
12. Take vitamin C and zinc regularly to boost immunity
