Kriyayoga: How to Increase Immunity & Vitality | Protect Yourself from Coronavirus & All Viruses

During these times of COVID-19, it is important to increase immunity and vitality by observing the following few points:

RECHARGING BODY:
Practice recharging twice a day, tensing and relaxing each part of head to toes with mild, medium and high tension. This helps to activate breathing through the skin, muscles, bones and cartilage, giving relaxation to the lungs. If you have been infected with the virus, practice these recharging steps several times throughout the day, along with following the recommended advice of doctors. Have no fear!

IN BATHING:
Take a hot water bath. Rub each part of the body for about 20 seconds with hot water and soap once a day. This removes all viruses from the surface and also helps to invigorate the largest respiratory system (skin), which improves the flow of oxygen into our body. In the presence of oxygen, viruses cannot exist.

GARGLING:
Gargle 3 times daily with tolerable hot water with good amount of salt (approx. 1 teaspoon salt in 1 cup water). Ensure not to swallow the salt water.

DURING MEALS:
1) Consume citrus fruits with seeds and peels once or twice a day.
2) Eat whole grains, ripe fruits and mature vegetables.
3) Have half of a raw onion along with 2 cloves of raw garlic. Chop these finely and add them to any of the food items. They have wonderful healing properties. Garlic and onion are natural germicides.
4) Do not mix foods. If you are eating 3 to 4 items during your meal, eat each item separately to enjoy the taste of each. In this way, digestion is also better for each food item which helps to increase vitality and immunity of the body.
