Best Protein At Vitamin Shoppe (VLog #4)

Vitamin shoppe is a great supplement store to buy protein products from. We just found out Retro Fitness matches the price of vitamin shoppe so we figured we’d stop in the store one more time. I’m sure we will be there again but not as much now that we go straight to the gym. Checkout the link below;

Protein! Protein! Protein!
I love protein supplements! No other supplement has helped build natural muscle more. Now days, supplement companies have supplied you with so many different options, it’s important to use them correctly.
Whey Protein
The best protein to have is Whey! It’s the most common protein available and the most important because it can be absorbed quickly by the body. With the exception of bedtime Whey protein will fuel you throughout the day.
Casein
For men especially would be the 2nd most important protein. Casein is a time released protein absorbed by the body over a longer period. Perfect to take before bed or for someone that can’t eat on a regular within 2-3 hours during the day.
Soy Protein
For the ladies is an optimal choice. Fast digesting and has more glutamine than any other form of protein which helps muscle recovery. Soy also helps women’s estrogen levels and protect from cardiovascular disease. Not the same time is why it’s not recommended for men. Men do not need estrogen!
Egg Protein
For everyone and matches up pretty well with Whey. The only problem is to get the highest amount of protein possible comes from fresh or organic eggs. Normally store eggs have about 2-3 grams per egg, while organic eggs have 6 grams per egg. The best buy at the your local grocery store would come from a carton of egg whites, however may take most people some getting used to, due to the taste.
If you can obtain the correct proteins above and use these at the right time in conjunction with incomplete proteins such as vegetables and whole grains like brown rice, I promise you’ll get results! Once again I hope the information provide was valuable and will help you determine which protein is right for you.
