In an allergic reaction, mast cells and basophils release “histamine” which triggers allergy symptoms.

Foods To Consume
1) Fruits/Vegetables that contain “Quercetin” (i.e. radish, red onion, kale, apples, dill, fennel, apples, grapes, cherries, lemons, oranges, broccoli)
*Quercetin- is a plant polyphenol which provides anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties

2) Pineapple: Contains Bromelain which provides anti-inflammatory properties
3) Ginger
4) Garlic
5) Honey
6) Turmeric
7) Tea (i.e. Rooibos Tea and Green Tea)
8) Medicinal Plants: Butterbur, Stinging Nettle

Essential Vitamins:
1) Vitamin A(Retinol); Recommended Daily Amount (900MCG for Men; and 700MCG for Women)
Foods rich in Vitamin A: i.e.Carrots, Spinach, Broccoli, Mangoes, Papayas, Chard, Eggs, Sweet Potatoes
2) Vitamin C(Ascorbic Acid); water-soluble vitamin so No Max dose
Foods rich in Vitamin C: i.e. Broccoli, Cantaloupe, Cauliflower, Kale, Kiwi, Oranges, Lemons, Papaya, Red/Green/Yellow Bell Peppers, Strawberries, Tomatoes, Spinach
3) Vitamin D (OTC: 800-2000IU daily; RX: Vitamin D2(Ergocalciferol 50,000IU taken once a week and Vitamin D3(Cholecalciferol 50,000IU taken once a week)
Obtained from sunlight (20 minutes in the sun) or through supplements

Essential Mineral:
1) Zinc; Recommended Daily Amount (8MG for Women; 11MG for Men)
