3 Foods At Costco That Appear Healthy But Are ACTUALLY NOT – Reviewed By A Naturopathic Doctor

Firstly, let’s examine Orgain protein powder, which seems healthy due to its presence of probiotics and organic ingredients. It has low sugar content, making it appear like an excellent choice for those seeking a nutritious supplement. However, upon closer inspection, we find that this product contains inflammatory seed oils – specifically sunflower oil.

Next up is Honey Nut Cheerios, touted as being made with real honey to help lower cholesterol levels. Let’s take a more detailed look at the ingredients: 12g of sugar per serving is an alarming amount. Furthermore, these cereal packs contain not one but two inflammatory seed oils – canola and sunflower oil.

Lastly, we have Quaker flavored oatmeal packs, advertised as containing no artificial flavors or corn syrup. They also claim to be made with whole grain oats. While they may appear healthy at first glance, a closer examination reveals that the oats used are not organic. This means they can serve as a good source of glyphosate – the active ingredient in Roundup herbicide, which is detrimental to our microbiome.
