Healthy Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

1 Granny Smith apple
3 romaine lettuce leaves
1/2 large cucumber
1 pear
1/2 lime, juiced
1 cup pineapple
2-inch piece of the white part of lemongrass (because of its fibrous and stringy texture, only the bottom third of the stem is edible, so be sure to remove the outer layers to use in the smoothie)
1 – 2 cups of coconut or spring water

Instructions:

Prepare Ingredients:
Wash your lovely fruit and veggies to prepare for blending.

Blending:
Follow your manufacturer’s instructions for your high-speed blender. In your blender, combine the ingredients.

Blend Until Smooth:
Blend the ingredients until smooth.

Serve:
Pour the smoothie into a glass.

Coconut/Spring Water: Hydrates and replenishes electrolytes, supports overall health.

Tips:
You can add more water and strain this smoothie to enjoy it as a juice as well!
