Here are two fake Foods I never eat as an naturopathic doctor okay number one is keto breads or keto baked goods I looked at the health food store the other day I thought hm maybe this is good well when I looked at the label most times it’s going to have something
Called calcium propionate in there and that is something that they add in there a chemical so that the bread doesn’t get moldy or go bad as quickly and we know that that is not healthy for our gut health it can mess up your gut microbiome so that’s one reason to avoid
Those types of breads that have that calcium propriate now the other one number two another food I’d never eat is granola bars that are store-bought that you haven’t made yourself that don’t have organic oats because here is the concern with glyphosate contamination and that is of course toxic and can cause DNA damage
