However, certain processed foods can deplete your B1 stores and leave you feeling tired and fatigued. To boost your energy levels, try cutting back on refined foods like sugar, wheat, flour, alcohol, tea, and coffee. You can also take a daily supplement with 50mg of alithiamine, a natural form of vitamin

B1 derived from garlic, onions, and other allium vegetables. Alternatively, you can incorporate B1-rich foods into your diet, such as sunflower seeds, organic pork, nutritional yeast, garlic, mussels, and asparagus. Number 2: Vitamin B12. To produce energy, your body relies on red blood cells to carry oxygen from your lungs to your cells.

This process requires essential nutrients such as vitamin B12, folate, and iron, which are needed to build healthy red blood cells. Without an adequate supply of these nutrients, you may experience symptoms of anemia, including pale skin, breathlessness, and chronic fatigue. To ensure you’re getting enough vitamin B12 and iron, incorporate high-quality grass-fed

CoQ10 is a natural antioxidant produced by every cell in the human body. It helps protect cell membranes and produces ATP, which is the body’s energy currency.

As we age, our CoQ10 levels tend to decrease, especially after the age of 40. Certain medications used for heart conditions, like statins, as well as beta blockers and antidepressants, can lower CoQ10 levels, leaving you feeling tired and worn out.

If you’re over 40, consider taking a daily supplement of CoQ10 in its natural form, called Ubiquinol, at a dosage of 100–200 mg per day. Alternatively, you can obtain CoQ10 from organ meats such as beef liver, kidney, or heart. CoQ10 is especially beneficial for older individuals and those with cardiovascular disease or metabolic syndrome.

Number 4: Magnesium. Did you know that billions of people worldwide lack magnesium, an electrolyte mineral found in vegetables? If you have a magnesium deficiency, you may experience tiredness, easy stress, tense muscles (especially around the shoulders), and difficulty thinking clearly. Magnesium supports healthy brain cells, muscle cells, and ATP production.

To increase your magnesium intake, you can consider taking a daily supplement called magnesium glycinate, with a dosage of 200 milligrams twice a day. This not only boosts energy levels but also reduces stress and helps balance blood sugar. Alternatively, you can incorporate more dark leafy green vegetables, pumpkin seeds, avocados,

Brazil nuts, and sunflower seeds into your diet. Number 5 is Ashwagandha. One common reason for feeling tired is carrying a significant amount of physical and mental stress for a long time. This stress can activate a hormone called cortisol, which disrupts blood sugar balance and leaves you feeling weak and exhausted.

To counteract this, you can try ashwagandha, a powerful ancient adaptogen herb that helps your brain and body adapt to stress, rebalancing hormones, and restoring energy levels. Consider taking 500mg of ashwagandha extract per day, ensuring it contains at least 5 to 10% withanolides.

In addition, finding ways to manage your stress, such as taking long walks, exercising, and drinking herbal teas like lemon balm, peppermint, or passionflower, can be beneficial. Lastly, let’s not forget vitamin D, which may also help with fatigue and tiredness.

If you struggle with sleep difficulties, waking up at odd hours, or feeling sleepy during the day, a lack of vitamin D might be a contributing factor. Taking 10,000 international units or 250 micrograms of vitamin D3 before bedtime can boost melatonin,

The hormone that regulates sleep and wake cycles, and promote a deeper night’s sleep. Vitamin D can also help in lowering cortisol, the stress hormone we spoke about earlier. As you can see, there are some highly effective vitamins and nutritional supplements that you may want to prioritize to improve your energy levels.

To start, I recommend focusing on vitamin B1 for 1-2 weeks. If that doesn’t work for you, you can work your way down the list and experiment with different options to see what works best for your body. Later, I will also share some important lifestyle tips that can help you combat fatigue and

Increase your energy, in addition to these supplements. But before we dive into that, let’s first take a look at what might be causing your fatigue and tiredness. One major factor to consider is the amount of uninterrupted sleep you’re getting each night.

Insufficient sleep can result in your cells receiving less glucose during the day, which can contribute to feelings of tiredness. Refined grains contain phytic acid, which binds to minerals and depletes your B vitamins. Without these vitamins, your cells lack the materials needed to produce energy.

Additionally, feeling tired may be a result of a low red blood cell count, preventing oxygen from reaching your cells. Another possible issue is low thyroid hormone levels, which I have a video about on my channel. Consuming excessive amounts of coffee, tea, or soda can overstimulate your nerves and lead to tiredness later on.

You may also experience long-term effects from previous infections or viruses. Now that you’re aware of these issues, let’s explore some actionable steps you can take to stop feeling tired and increase your energy levels. To stop feeling tired and increase your energy levels, you can follow these tips: 1.

Reduce your intake of refined carbohydrates, sugars, and alcohol. These substances can deplete your electrolytes and B vitamins. 2. Focus on eating nutrient-dense foods like avocados, walnuts, wild salmon, grass-fed beef, pasture-raised eggs, tomatoes, blueberries, and broccoli. These foods improve your mitochondrial health. 3.

If you still feel run down after a cold or viral infection, consider taking zinc glycinate, vitamin D3, and N-acetylcysteine. These supplements can help your immune system clear out pathogens from your cells. 4. Increase your B vitamin levels by consuming at least 3 tablespoons of nutritional yeast daily.

Nutritional yeast is effective in calming down the nervous system, reducing fatigue and stress, and improving sleep cycles. 5. Limit your caffeine intake to a maximum of 2 cups of organic coffee in the morning. Avoid consuming caffeine after 2 p.m. By bedtime, the caffeine will have left your system, leading to better sleep. 6.

Start your day with a glass of water mixed with 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar. This drink provides acetic acid, which is converted into ketones and naturally boosts energy levels, especially in your brain cells. You can add electrolyte minerals like potassium citrate and magnesium citrate to this drink if desired.
