Dr. Janine says this is common with the lack of sunlight exposure and lots of stress as it depletes your B12. The last most common vitamin deficiency is Vitamin D. About thirty-five percent of adults in the United States (and other countries) are low in vitamin D. Vitamin D lowers a hormone called Hepcidin, which when it’s high lowers our iron absorption. Dr. Janine says these vitamins are all dependent on sunlight exposure and suggests getting more sunlight, on bare skin and taking whole-food supplements, always looking for ones made without any fillers or flow agents.
