Prime Minister Justin Trudeau got a lot of attention for saying “While not forcing anyone to get vaccinated, I chose to make sure all the incentives and all the protections were there to encourage Canadians to get vaccinated.”
It’s technically true, in that the Trudeau government never physically grabbed people and stabbed COVID vaccines into their arms. But Canada did end out the COVID-19 pandemic with some of the most onerous vaccine mandates in the democratic world.
