How Long Will COVID-19 Vaccine Immunity Last?

Dr. Hank Bernstein explains that immunity to COVID-19 lasts at least six months after either immunization or natural infection. In addition, those who have had both COVID-19 vaccination and have been infected with SARS-CoV-2 are among the best protected because the vaccine adds to the immunity caused by natural infection. Dr. Bernstein goes on to talk about the role of T cells in providing long-lasting immunity against COVID-19 by protecting against serious disease, hospitalization and death.
