1 Simple Vitamin to Keep Your Arteries CLEAR

SUMMARY:
There are two different types of vitamin K, vitamin K1 and vitamin K2. vitamin K, particularly K2, plays a crucial role in calcium depositing in the body. If you are low in K2, your arteries around your heart will begin to gather build up of calcium. This means your body wont have enough K2 to clean it out, putting you at higher risk for heart disease and high blood pressure.

You can get vitamin K2 from animal products like dark meat chicken, pasteurized eggs, pork chops, and some cheeses. It can also be found in eel, beef liver and sauerkraut. But these are not foods that we should be eating every day. So adding a vitamin K2 supplement to your daily regimen is the most efficient way to boost your intake. There are two different types of K2 supplements, MK4 and MK7. The main difference is the product from which they are sourced. There are limited studies out there comparing the two, so you may want to try one and then the other and see if you notice a difference. You can also get these vitamin K2 supplements in combination with another vitamin like vitamin D3, which are often used together in the body. As always, it is best to consult with your doctor to discuss your specific needs.
