Vitamin c as an Antioxidant – it is the first line of antioxidant and the most important antioxidant in the body.
Vitamin c beneficial effects
Vitamin c plays an important role in all immune system function particularly enhancing White blood cell function, it also possess many biochemical effects similar to interferon, The body’s natural antiviral and anti cancer compound.

it performs many function that may offer protection against cancer ,A high vitamin C intake reduces the risk virtually all forms of cancer.

Another major function of vitamin c is the manufacture of collagen, the main protein substance of human body. Since collagen is such an important protein for the structures like connective tissue, cartilage, tendons etc that holds our body together.

Vitamin C is vital for wound repair and healthy gums, it also helps in lowering cholesterol

However we all goes via stresses such as chemical, emotional, psychological and physical stress, our urinary system excretes Vitamin c at a significantly increased rate, thereby depleting Vitamin c level and increasing the body’s need for Vitamin C .
