Covid-19 Delta variant: Does vaccine work against it? Are booster shots needed?

The Delta variant of Covid-19 makes up more than half of coronavirus cases in the United States since early July 2021. How does the coronavirus mutate? The World Health Organization called the Delta variant, “the fastest and the fittest Covid variant.” Will we need booster shots to fight this variant?
