Is Vitamin C even effective in skincare? Do you really NEED Vitamin C?

Time to talk about an apparently controversial skincare ingredient again! For as long as I can remember, Vitamin C has been regarded as a skincare superstar. A Gold Standard Active, if you will. Recently, I feel like a lot of people have turned their tide on her though and are now feeling as if she’s not worth it or she doesn’t work! So I’m sharing my perspective.
