‘프리덤 아이디’… 리투아니아, 코로나19 상태 보여주는 QR코드 전자 여권 만들어

Individuals in Lithuania are now able to prove their vaccine or Covid status,… as the country’s national digital COVID-19 immunity certificate,… has come into force.
Called ‘Freedom ID’,… it’s helping people return to pre-pandemic activities ranging from concerts, sports events, indoor dining, and even international travel.
“There are three components: first, it’s information about your vaccination, if you are already vaccinated. Then about immunity, if you got COVID previously, and third, a negative test result.”
She added that Lithuania is providing instant testing free of charge to ensure equal rights for everybody.
The minister also said it should encourage Lithuanians to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
The Freedom ID consists of a QR code that can be instantly scanned to show the user’s status on vaccination, immunity and testing.
The country’s government expects that the ID will be combined with the COVID-19 travel certificate proposed by the European Union.
