Weight Loss | Healthy Food | Leek and Lentil soup

Leek and lentil soup is a very healthy, tasty and nutritional dish and helping you lose weight. if you are with weight watchers it is a zero pointed dish.

Ingredients:
250 grams red lentils (washed and strained)
100 grams yellow spit pea (saoked overnight)

4 pack of leeks
bunch of celery
2 red and 1 green bullet chilli
1 Tbsp salt
1 tsp Tumeric
Water to cover solids.

How to cook:
Bring water to boil then simmer and stir 45 minutes

Prep time 10-12 minutes

Benefits:
Leeks: good source of vitamin C, vitamin K, and vitamin B6, as well as the minerals iron and manganese.
Lentils: lentils are low in calories, rich in iron and folate and an excellent source of protein.

Chillies: Loaded with Vitamin C and beta-carotene, green chillies are great for healthy eyes, skin and immune system.

Turmeric: It’s a potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant and may also help improve symptoms of depression and arthritis
