How much vitamin D per day?

Vitamin D deficiency is very common
There is not much vitamin D in food
You need sun exposure, use of tanning beds, or vitamin D3 supplementation

Recommendations:
You need 10-30 minutes of daily near-full-body sun exposure with a UV index of 3+.
If you can’t maintain a tan, it’s best to supplement 2-9k IU of vitamin D3 every day.
