Besan Sheera | Healthy Drink #4 | Benefits , Recipe and Preparation

🍵About the recipe – @rukaiya_healthyliving

🍵Ingredients –
1) Besan (chickpea flour) – 2 tbsp
2)Ghee (clarified butter) -2 tbsp
3) Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
4)Cardamom powder – pinch
5) Chopped almond- 2-3
6) Ginger powder (sonth) – 1/2 tsp
7) Saffron -pinch
8) Jaggery powder -2 tbsp
9) Water -1/2 cup

🍵Recipe –
1) Heat the pan and roast besan with ghee in a low flame
2) Roast until besan gets golden brown
3) Add turmeric , jaggery powder , cardamom powder , saffron and water to it
4) Now cook it for 5 more min on medium flame
5) Consistency – not thick , not watery
6) Lastly ,add ginger powder to it

1)Besan is rich in protein ,fiber and carbohydrates
2) It is also a good source of vitamin K, folate , copper ,selenium , phosphorous and manganese
