It’s winter and the traditional cold & flu season. Of course, we’re all more concerned about Covid-19 these days… but either way it’s a good time for testing out new immunity drink recipes. In today’s video, Katrina is in the kitchen blending up a potent grapefruit oregano tonic.
This easy immunity drink is pretty simple and takes just a few ingredients and a blender to make. The first ingredient is grapefruit, which is full of vitamin C and has many reported health benefits including helping to prevent cardiovascular disease and certain kinds of cancer, managing diabetes, and improving digestion and sleep.
It’s important to be aware, however, that there are numerous drugs that should NOT be taken with grapefruit or grapefruit juice. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you’re on any prescribed medications.
If medication is not a concern and you just want an alternative to using an actual grapefruit, you can replace it with a drop of Organixx Grapefruit Essential Oil.
